The Flyers had two picks in the seventh and final round of the 2018 NHL Draft. They were on the clock at 190th overall, but traded the pick to Montreal for a 2019 seventh-round pick. The pick was acquired by the Flyers from Montreal at last year's draft.
With their other pick in the seventh round, the Flyers selected center Marcus Westfalt at 205th overall.
Westfalt played briefly last season with Brynas IF in the SHL and spent most of the season with their junior team. In Swedish juniors, Westfalt scored 12 goals and had 27 points in 26 games. In 31 games with Brynas, he scored one goal and had four points.
The Flyers concluded the draft with eight selections, three centers, three defensemen, one winger and one goalie. Five of the eight selections were American-born players. The other three were Swedes.
Scouting reports on the rest of the Day 2 picks from Rounds 4-7 will be posted later this evening.
