Day 2 continued for the Flyers with their fifth round pick.
With the 137th overall pick, the Flyers selected left winger Noah Cates.
Cates played in high school, serving as captain for Stillwater High School, and scored 20 goals and 45 assists for 65 points in 25 games. He also played 11 games for the Omaha Lancers in the USHL, scoring two goals and adding seven assists.
Cates is 6'1", 170 pounds and has committed to University of Minnesota-Duluth to play college hockey.
The Flyers are back on the clock in the sixth round with the 168th overall pick.
