Last week, the Flyers signed one of their forwards from the 2016 Draft to an entry-level deal with Connor Bunnaman signing on. On Tuesday, they added one of their 2015 draft picks.
The Flyers have signed Russian forward Mikhail Vorobyov to an entry-level deal, according to a report from Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports. Vorobyov was a fourth-round pick of the Flyers in 2015 with the 104th overall pick.
Vorobyov played in 44 games this season for Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the KHL, scoring three goals and adding eight assists for 11 points. The Russian was a standout for Team Russia in World Juniors, picking up a tournament-leading 10 assists in seven games, helping Russia earn a bronze medal.
The 20-year-old was believed to be looking to sign on with the Flyers at the end of his KHL season so he could test the North American game and make a push for the NHL. Vorobyov will likely suit up for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms next season.
