For the second day in a row, the Flyers tapped into the KHL for another free-agent signing.
The Flyers announced Thursday that they have signed 25-year-old right winger Aaron Palushaj from the KHL.
Palushaj's deal is a one-year, two-way deal worth $575,000 at the NHL level and $225,000 at the AHL level.
Palushaj split time in the KHL this past season with Medvescak Zagreb and Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, scoring seven goals and adding 14 assists for 21 points in 53 games.
Palushaj was a second-round pick of the St. Louis Blues in the 2007 NHL Draft and played in 68 NHL games with the Montreal Canadiens, Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes, scoring three goals and adding 11 assists.
The Livonia, Michigan native spent two seasons in at the University of Michigan and was a 2009 participant in the World Junior Championships with Team USA.
