The Flyers Wives Carnival, the annual charity event held at Wells Fargo Center, will take place this year on Sunday, Nov. 19, the team announced on Monday.
The event features a new time. In previous years, early admission had started at 1:30 p.m. with the event running until 6 p.m. This year, the event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
This is the 41st year the event will take place, making it one of the longest and most successful charity events hosted by a professional sports team.
Several of the attractions from previous years will return, such as the six-story Ferris Wheel, carousel at center ice and other carnival games and the dunk tank. Also returning are the shot on goal, mystery bags and more.
New to the carnival this year is the addition of mystery pucks, which guarantee an autographed puck by a Flyers player. Some will also include "on-the-spot VIP surprise experiences." Also new this year will be behind-the-scenes tours of the press box and press conference areas. All fans in attendance will receive a free Carnival t-shirt and Dunkin Donuts gift card.
Tickets for the Carnival are on sale now and are $35 for adults and $15 for children. Children under the age of two are admitted for free.
