Congratulations are in order for Phillies rookie third baseman Maikel Franco. Franco will pick up one of his first (but certainly not last) awards as a Major League player. Franco was honored for being the top rookie in the league.

The honor is certainly well-earned.
Franco hit .352 with eight home runs and 24 RBI. Slugging at a .648 clip, Franco's OPS was 1.039. Franco had 38 hits total and scored 18 runs.
