Day 2 of free agency came and went with little fanfare. The Flyers added one player who will spend most of the season in the AHL as a depth signing.
What headlined today's news was the team's announcement of the development camp roster and schedule.
Here are the details.
The Flyers signed goalie Jason LaBarbera to a two-way deal. The 35-year-old has played for six teams in 11 NHL seasons. LaBarbera spent last season in the Anaheim Ducks organization and was a part of the Los Angeles Kings organization from 2005 to 2009.
The Flyers will begin development camp on July 7. The camp lasts until July 12. Five days will feature on-ice sessions for players grouped by position. All players will skate together in the final on-ice session on July 12 at 4:30. All on-ice sessions are at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees.
July 8 marks the annual Trial on the Isle in Stone Harbor, NJ, where the members of development camp will participate in skills and team-building exercises.
Members of the roster including first-round picks Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny. Other players from the 2015 Draft include third-round picks Felix Sandstrom and Matej Tomek, fourth-round pick Samuel Dove-McFalls, fifth-round pick David Kase and sixth-round pick Cooper Marody.
The rest of the forward roster includes Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Cole Bardreau, Radel Fazleev, Tyrell Goulbourne, Scott Laughton, Taylor Leier, Oskar Lindblom, Danick Martel, Brett McKenzie, Pavel Padakin and Luke Philp.
Defensemen include Terrence Amorosa, David Drake, Mark Friedman, Shayne Gostisbehere, Robert Hagg, Nick Luukko, Christian Marti, Sam Morin, Casey Nelson, Jesper Petterson, Travis Sanheim and Reece Willcox.
In addition to two of the Flyers three new goalies selected at the 2015 Draft, Merrick Madsen, Martin Ouellette and Anthony Stolarz will also be a part of development camp.
