Galvis gets first start of the season at second base against Weber, Braves

Atlanta, GA – The Philadelphia Phillies (56-92) will look to avoid their 30th series loss of the season Saturday evening as they oppose rookie right hander Ryan Weber and the Atlanta Braves (58-90).

Eickhoff, 25, is coming off of one of his most effective outings thus far in his rookie season.

Last Saturday, the right hander threw seven innings of one-run baseball as the Phillies went on to defeat the playoff-bound Chicago Cubs, 7-5.

Weber, 25, is 0-1 with a 4.38 ERA and a 0.973 WHIP ratio over two career starts.

The St. Petersburg, Florida-native faced the Phillies for his big-league debut on September 8, and suffered the defeat after allowing just two runs on four hits and a walk over six innings.
