Last week, the home openers were officially announced, leaving us with two known dates on the Flyers 2019-20 schedule — the season opener against the Blackhawks in Prague, Czech Republic on Oct. 4 and the home opener in Philadelphia on Oct. 9.

On Tuesday, the rest of the schedule was released. The entire schedule can be viewed here, but here are 10 games that you should look forward to this upcoming season.

Oct. 29 at Pittsburgh Penguins - The first installment of the Battle of Pennsylvania next season comes in late October when the Flyers make a trip to Pittsburgh.

Nov. 10 at Boston Bruins – It’s not often the Flyers play a Sunday night game, and even more infrequent early in the season, but here’s a mid-November showdown in Boston against the defending Eastern Conference champions.

Nov. 29 vs. Detroit Red Wings – The annual Black Friday game comes against a new opponent and a later start time as the Detroit Red Wings pay a visit for a 4 p.m. game.

Dec. 31 at Los Angeles Kings – Ring in the new year of 2020 with the Flyers, as they face the Kings in a game that starts at 9 p.m. ET and should be finishing up just before midnight.

Jan. 15 at St. Louis Blues – The Flyers make the trip to face the defending Stanley Cup champions in mid-January.

Jan. 21 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins – The first trip to Philadelphia for the Penguins since last season’s Stadium Series game. As with all games between the two teams, this will be must-see hockey.

Feb. 28 vs. New York Rangers – The Rangers are in town for a home game at the end of February that holds meaning for several reasons. First, it is a rare Friday night game in Philadelphia. Second, with the Rangers making improvements and the Flyers looking to also get back into the playoffs, this could be a game with major playoff implications.

March 17 vs. St. Louis Blues – The Blues started their Stanley Cup run in Philadelphia on Jan. 7 last season. If they need some sort of miracle run again this season, the game in Philadelphia may be too late this time. It’s a St. Patrick’s Day meeting between the Flyers and Blues.

March 28 vs. New Jersey Devils – Much like the Rangers, the Devils have made a lot of improvements. With about a week remaining in the season, Jack Hughes, P.K. Subban and the Devils make their way to Philadelphia for a game that could also have huge playoff implications.

April 2 vs. Nashville Predators – The final home game of the 2019-20 regular season is against an interesting opponent. The Flyers have typically closed out the regular season against a divisional opponent like the Penguins, Rangers or Hurricanes, but this time will play their final home game against Peter Laviolette and the Nashville Predators.

Honorable Mentions

Oct. 4 vs. Chicago Blackhawks – The first game of the season takes place thousands of miles away in Prague, Czech Republic, where native Jake Voracek and the rest of the Flyers look to start off the season with a win. The game will be at 8 p.m. local time in Prague, 2 p.m. ET.

Oct. 9 vs. New Jersey Devils – The Flyers home opener welcomes the Devils and their shiny new prospect in Jack Hughes for one of his first games in his career.
