Perhaps you heard on the introduction to the Phillies telecast that Gary Matthews is not with the broadcast team today because he will be presenting the San Francisco Giants' Buster Posey with his 2010 Rookie of the Year award.
Why, you ask? (And tweet – I've seen several people ask why on Twitter)
Gary Matthews was the Giants' last rookie of the year award winner back in 1973.
