The Eagles face the Cowboys in week seven of the regular season. This is the biggest game of the year for both teams as they are both 3-3, tied for first place in the NFC East. The Cowboys have dominated so far, leading 27 to 7 at halftime. The Eagles had some big turnovers to start the game but have somewhat settled in since. Here’s what we saw in the first 30 minutes of action:

First Half Offensive MVP

TE Dallas Godert. Godert started off the game with a huge fumble that set up a Cowboys touchdown. Since that critical play, Godert has been great, having three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.

First Half Defensive MVP

DE Derek Barnett. Barnett has been the bright spot in the Eagles defense so far, finishing the half with one tackle, which was a huge sack on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Who Needs To Step Up

Alshon Jeffery needs to step up in the second half. Jeffery has been quite so far finishing the half with zero catches and zero yards. The Eagles pass game is going to need to step up in the second half, and that starts with Jeffery making some big plays.

Who To Watch Out For

Ezekiel Elliott looks like he is going have a big second half. Elliot has already had a great first half rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles run defense has been amazing all year but is struggling today against Elliott. Slowing down the star running back will be crucial for an Eagles second-half comeback.
