The Eagles face the Lions in week three of the regular season. The defense has not looked good so far letting the Lions score 20 points in the first half. The offense has played well so far, but turned over the ball twice in the second quarter. Here’s what we saw in the first 30 minutes of action:

First Half Offensive MVP

TE Zach Ertz

Ertz has been Wentz’s favorite target so far, catching three passes for 58 yards. Ertz converted a third and long and had a 23-yard completion right before the two-minute warning that set the Eagles up in Lions territory.

First Half Defensive MVP

DE Brandon Graham

Graham has played well in the first half, recording two tackles. Graham had a great tackle on first and goal to stuff Kerryon Johnson at the line of scrimmage.

Who Needs To Step Up

The Eagles secondary needs to step up. They have not looked good in the first half, giving up wide-open completions. This secondary is key to leaving this game with a victory.

Who To Watch Out For

Kenny Golladay looks like he is going to have a big second half. Darby has not looked good this half, getting burned numerous times. Darby needs to step up to prevent Golladay from putting up big numbers in the second half.
