Roy Halladay has left the Phillies today for undisclosed personal issues. This comes a day after surrendering a 6-0 lead, giving up 8 runs in the fifth and sixth innings of a 15-13 loss at Atlanta. The Phillies ace is winless since charging out to a 3-0 record, and his fastball is down in velocity. The Phillies say he will rejoin the team on Friday in Washington.
Big deal? Not likely, as long as he's back Friday. His struggles are probably more of a concern than this, if this is a one day hiatus.
