Harang, Phillies look to even series

The Phillies have the second game of their series against the Reds tonight in Cincinnati, with the first pitch coming at 7:10. Falling 6-4 yesterday, they look to tie the series with a possible rubber match tomorrow. Maikel Franco, going 3-4 in last night's contest, aims to stay hot.

Starting Pitching Matchup:

Philadelphia Phillies (22-37) Cincinnati Reds (25-31)
RHP Aaron Harang RHP Anthony DeSclafani
(4-6, 2.45 ERA) (4-4, 3.60 ERA)

The Phillies look to rebound from last night's 6-4 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park when they send Aaron Harang (4-6, 2.45) to the bump to face the Reds' Anthony DeSclafani (4-4, 3.60) in the second game of a three-game set in Cincy. The two starters squared off on June 4 in a 6-4 Reds' win, with Harang going 5.2 innings and allowing six runs (five earned). DeSclafani had more success, going into the eighth inning and allowing four earned runs en route to earning the win.
