The Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions meet today at Lincoln Financial Field as two division leaders in the NFC East and North respectively and they will be doing so in a stadium that has become a snow-globe.
Snow and ice were predicted to hit the Philadelphia area at approximately 3pm Sunday afternoon, but the snowflakes began falling as early as 11am which has led to the Linc transforming into a winter wonderland.
Here are some images from pregame where the grounds crew aggressively tried to remove the snow from the yardlines but just as quickly as they did they were covered again.
