Here are some of the Phillies’ best giveaways in 2016

The Philadelphia Phillies aren't expected to contend in 2016, though a new front-office structure and looming minor league talent has created a sense of excitement for fans early in Spring Training.

As always, the Phillies will also have a slew of exciting giveaways this season at Citizens Bank Park, some of the best of which are highlighted in this article. 

April

As always, fans who attend the Phillies opening series are treated will be treated to a giveaway. All fans will receive a Phillies Commemorative Cap on April 11th, as the Phillies open their season at home against the San Diego Padres. The second game of the series on April 12th will feature the Phillies' first "dollar dog night" of the year, and fans 15 and over will receive the McDonald's Opening Night T-Shirt. 

Bring the kids to watch the Phillies take on a division rival the Washington Nationals. The series begins on April 15th, with the Jackie Robinson Salute. On April 16th, all fans 14 and under will receive a kid's pull-over jacket. And there is no better way to conclude a series than by celebrating the Phanatic's Birthday. On April 17th, all fans 14 and under will receive a Phillie Phanatic Flair Hair Visor.

May

It's all about mom on May 1st, as the Phillies wrap up their series with the Cleveland Indians. All women 15 and over will receive a Ladies Infinity Scarf, as the Phillies and Stubhub celebrate Mother's Appreciation Day at the ballpark.

May will feature more hot giveaways for fans when the Reds come to town. On May 14th, all fans will receive a Phillies cap, and on that Sunday, May 15th, all fans 14 and under will receive a bat and ball set, and are welcomed to run the bases at the conclusion of the game.

The Phillies will hold their third "dollar dog night" on Monday, May 16th, as they take on the Marlins. Saturday, May 21st will be Comcast: Be A Phanatic About Reading day, and all fans 14 and under will receive the Phanatic children's book.

June

Thursday, June 2nd will be the final "dollar dog night" scheduled for the season when the Phillies take on the Brewers. On Saturday, June 4th all fans 14 and under will receive the IBEW Local 98 Aaron Nola T-Shirt. The series wraps up on Sunday, June 5th with all fans receiving Sports 4 all retro socks.

MLB Network will giving away a tote bag to all fans on Thursday, June 16th, and AT&T will be sponsoring the Maikel Franco Bobble Figurine Night on Saturday, June 18th, free to all fans.

July

The Phillies will be celebrating the 4th of July a little early this year with the Xfinity Fireworks Show set to kick off on Friday, July 1st and Saturday, July 2nd.

On July 16th when the Mets come to town all fans will receive the WB Mason Collectible Truck, and all fans 14 and under will receive the PECO Galapagos Gang Beach Towel on Sunday, July 17th.

August

Alumni week begins on Friday, Aug. 12th with the Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame Night, and on Sunday, Aug. 14th all fans will receive the Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame Fathead. It's unclear who will be inducted into the Wall of Fame on this weekend, though this year's ballot is available here

September

As the regular season begins to enter into its final weeks, all fans 15 and over will receive the Herr's Aviator Hat on Saturday, Sept. 17th.

Be sure to bring your grandparents out the park on Sunday, Sept. 18th as the Phillies celebrate Grandparents Day.

The Phillies will conclude the 2016 promotional schedule on Saturday, Oct. 1st with Octoberfest and on Sunday, Oct. 2nd with fan appreciation day.
