"Everyone thinks they're going to win a championship."
Andre Iguodala seems to think so. Iggy made a subtle reference to 'The Process,' Joel Embiid with his remarks. ESPN's Arash Markazi got a chance to get some video of Iguodala at a presser today, moments before the Golden State Warriors look to capture their second title in three years tonight in Game 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Of course, Iguodala knows Philadelphia pretty well, considering the small forward spent eight seasons in the City of Brotherly Love.
There's no doubting the trajectory of the Sixers as they head into another season, looking more lethal than usual after an impressive improvement last season.
Joel Embiid has already garnered attention from much of the league, and Iggy is just a small addition to what is already known: Joel Embiid is the future of the league.
Just for kicks, it's worth noting that Iguodala is slated to enter free agency this offseason, but many signs are pointing towards the former Finals MVP re-signing with Golden State at season's end.
