The Eagles are 3-4 and at a point where their playoff hopes may be over if they do not win in Buffalo, an outcome that could lead the Eagles to sell players and play their young guys to see what they have for 2020.

The Eagles have one player coming off the injury report in CB Ronald Darby.

Tim Jernigan, Cre’Von LeBlanc, DeSean Jackson and Avonte Maddox could be returning soon, but that may be too late.

Injury Report

Eagles

Out

DT Tim Jernigan

Jernigan misses his sixth game with his “four-to-six week” injury. The Eagles DT rotation is now Fletcher Cox and three guys off of practice squads: Bruce Hector, Anthony Higgins and Anthony Rush.

WR DeSean Jackson

Jackson will miss, for all intensive purposes, his seventh straight game. If you count the handful of snaps he played in week two, he’s only missed six. Still, that would tie the most games he’s ever missed in a regular season and it would be a new personal record for him were he to miss another game.

CB Avonte Maddox

Andrew Sendejo put Maddox in the concussion protocol and left him suffering from a neck injury. For the first time since that injury, Maddox was on the practice field this week. He may still be a few weeks out, but he at least exists.

RB Darren Sproles

Sproles is out for his third straight game and the punt return duties will remain with Boston Scott. It would be a folly to expect him back anytime soon as he had a similar injury sideline him for half a season last year.

OL Jason Peters

Peters left early on in the Vikings game with another injury. Andre Dillard will make his second straight start at left tackle with Peters still on the sidelines.

LB Nigel Bradham

Bradham is the Eagles best linebacker and his absence leaves rookie TJ Edwards likely to see a significant amount of snaps behind KGH and Nate Gerry.

Bills

Questionable

S Kurt Coleman

Coleman is the third safety on the Bills roster. His absence would be a big hit to the depth on the roster, but with guys like White and Hyde healthy, the Eagles have more than enough to worry about on Sunday.

CB Kevin Johnson

Another depth player, Johnson is the first corner off the bench to replace an outside corner.

LB Matt Milano

The only defensive starter to appear on the report for the Bills, Milano is the Bills’ third linebacker. With a healthy secondary and the potential for a linebacker to miss the game, the Eagles may again have more success running the ball.

LB Corey Thompson

Thompson serves as one of the backups for the Bills. He has appeared in only three games so far this season.

WR Duke Williams

Williams is not at the top of the receiver list for the Bills as he is behind John Brown and Cole Beasley. He has just five receptions on the season.
