By Paul Bowman, Sports Talk Philly Editor Injury Report: Eagles at Falcons

The Eagles lost defensive tackle Malik Jackson to injured reserve last week, but the team hope that the dropoff is not too great with the addition of veteran Akeem Spence as a rotational player.

The report for the Eagles is almost the same as last week.

The Falcons list only two depth players, though they lost their starting right guard, Chris Lindstrom, last week. Lindstrom was placed on IR, which is why he is not listed on the report.

Injury Report

Eagles

Out

LB Kamu Grugier-Hill

Kamu remains sidelined and remains the most impact player out. He should be a starter once he returns.

OT Jordan Mailata

Mailata is still out with a back injury, but if the Eagles keep similar inactives to last week, they will have two tackles as the only backups on the offensive line even with Mailata sidelined.

Doubtful

QB Nate Sudfeld

Sudfeld has progress quicker than initially hoped, but doubtful is a bit of an odd title. The chances are the team rules him out even if he’s well enough to play so that they can be sure to get him back at 100% health later in the season.

Falcons

Out

OT Matt Gono

Gono is a depth piece and there was a pretty decent chance he would be inactive even if he were healthy, so this should not greatly impact the game.

Out

WR Russell Gage

The fifth receiver on the depth chart, the Falcons already have Julio Jones, Mohammed Sanu and Calvin Ridley, so Gage’s availability is also not likely to factor into this game.
