Let's just be realistic for a second. Going low end, the Phillies need to win 87 games this season to make the playoffs. Over the final 96 games, they would have to go 56-40 to get there. Guess what? They won't. I know some people say "why start making moves in June." My answer is simple: the die is cast.
I could re-cast every problem with this team, as I have on here recently, and tell you who I want moved. That's irrelevant tonight. Having just lost consecutive series to the Brewers and Twins, I think that should be enough for you all to get the point. This team isn't going 56-40 to finish it out. Start making moves. Don't obsess over the health of old players. It's now all about finding out which young players can play.
