The Eagles have two spots open on their 53-man roster and they might have taken the first step to filling one of those spots.
On Tuesday, the Eagles activated a 21-day practice window for cornerback Jalen Mills.

Mills has spent the entire 2019 season on the PUP list with a foot injury that sidelined him at the end of the 2018 season.
He was also a starting cornerback for the Super Bowl LII Championship team.
The Green Goblin receives a lot of criticism from fans, but could be a huge shot to the arm for a decimated cornerback room.
Mills will be particularly helpful if he and Rasul Douglas are played at the line where they can jam receivers and get in their heads.
He will also be a huge boost for his short-term memory and confidence, which has seemed to be lacking on the outside for the Eagles this season.
Mills will now be allowed to practice with the team. The Eagles have 21 days to decide whether they will return him to the 53-man roster or shut him down for the season, though the team’s comments seem to indicate they expect him back sooner rather than later (perhaps on a snap count to start).
