Colin Cowherd is not a very liked sports radio host when it comes to Philadelphia fans. He consistently criticizes the city's teams and its players on his show, rarely ever giving credit even when they are doing well. On Wednesday night, it was the Sixers that had the last laugh. Prior to the season, the Sixers over/under was put at 40 games. With a healthy Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, it didn't seem impossible by any means and at that time, Fultz was expected to be a factor as well. Cowherd took the air on his show in October, stating that there's no chance Philadelphia wins 40, even in the "miserable East".

After the All-Star Break, the Sixers beat Chicago by one-point in their first game back and Cowherd continued to trash the organization's way of doing things, saying "the process didn't work." We'll be happy having you continue to eat your words, sir.
Anyway, after Colin made his comments about the Sixers having no chance to win 40 games, he agreed to a friendly bet on Twitter. If the Sixers were to win 40 games, which they just accomplished last night, he'd don a Philly jersey on his show.

Well, after notching their 40th win, Sixers center Joel Embiid wasted no time roasting Cowherd on Instagram. His location game is fire.
It looked like Cowherd wouldnt't go through with the bet, claiming there weren't any Sixers jerseys in L.A….since that's believable.
Looking everywhere in LA for Sixers jersey. Canβt find one. So frustrating. Really wanted to pay off the bet. Well, maybe next time.

When The Herd began on Thursday, Colin was not wearing a Sixers jersey. Apparently the one he was sent was the size for a small boy. After about an hour of his show though, Cowherd finally got a jersey that fit him and wore it on the air. Yippee! That didn't keep him from continuing to take shots at the Sixers on Twitter before comparing the Toronto Raptors' progression over the last 4-5 years to Philadelphia's process during Thursday's show. Considering Toronto was never in rebuild mode, the argument was flawed from the beginning. At least he followed through.

The Sixers are back in action Thursday night in Orlando for a match-up with the Magic at 7:30 p.m. Philadelphia is currently fourth place in the East.
