Franchise player says he should be good to go for training camp.

One theme has held true throughout the last 365 days with Joel Embiid; there is always a case of good news followed by bad news. This is nothing different from the information that we found out this morning about the budding star's future return.

The news that Embiid had a partial tear in his left meniscus broke on March 1st and his subsequent surgery followed. It's been five months since his surgery and he has still not been cleared for 5-on-5 which you would think is long enough, but for athletes who get their meniscus fully repaired like Embiid, it's usually a four-to-five month recovery until they are 100% back to normal.

Embiid has been working out on the court for a few months now and has looked pretty good in the limited video that we've seen of him. He'll be 100% fully healed by training camp and will be able to get on the court with his revamped Sixers team.

We all know that the Sixers will go as far as Embiid's legs take them. If he can play 70-80% of the team's games this season, the Sixers are a no-doubt playoff team.
