The first Eagles free agent to find a new home, to no one’s surprise, was franchise hero and Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles. The quarterback will be given the starting job and $88 million by the team down in Jacksonville.

The second free agent to find a new home is yet another player drafted by the Eagles, linebacker Jordan Hicks.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Hicks will be signing with the Arizona Cardinals.

The deal is a four-year, $36 million deal with $20 million of that money guaranteed.

The deal cannot be official until Monday at 4 p.m. when free agency starts.

His $9 million average annual value should net the Eagles a fourth-round compensatory pick in the 2020 draft. For reference, the Eagles were awarded a 2019 fourth-round pick (138th overall) for Trey Burton’s $7.925 million deal.

In four seasons with the Eagles, Hicks registered 263 tackles, five sacks, 14 quarterback hits, seven interceptions, a forced fumble and six fumble recoveries.
