The Eagles parted with their leading rusher from 2018 on Saturday in a move that actually wasn’t all that shocking.
Field Yates of ESPN is now reporting a move that is also not a surprise: Josh Adams will join Joe Douglas by signing with the Jets practice squad.
Former Eagles RB Josh Adams is signing to Jets the practice squad, per source. Philly’s leading rusher last season reunites with GM Joe Douglass in New York.

Adams will likely not see much time on the field after the Jets signed Le’veon Bell to a deal to be their bell cow.
The team did cut Elijah McGuire, however, who impressed at the end of last season, so a spot was opened up.
Adams rushed for 511 yards in his rookie season after going undrafted in 2018.
