The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off of their biggest win of the season thus far against the now formerly undefeated Minnesota Vikings. The game was a turnover filled contest that the Eagles came out of with a victory, but the win seemed to be sparked by Josh Huff's 98-yard kick return for a touchdown to put Philadelphia on top. The Eagles went for two and took an 8-3 lead, one they would never surrender. Huff's effort on special teams earned him the honor of NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Huff's 98-yard touchdown return marked the first time in franchise history that the Eagles returned a kick for a touchdown in back-to-back weeks. Rookie Wendell Smallwood ran one back against Washington during the week prior to Huff's against Minnesota.
This is Josh Huff's second Player of the Week award in his career. He won the special team award back in 2014 following a game against the Titans.
