Have the Philadelphia Phillies had contact with prized free agent Juan Soto and/or his agent Scott Boras? Well, that depends on who you ask.
According to Bob Nightengale, the #BlueJays, #Mets, #Yankees, & #RedSox are the most connected to Juan Soto.

The latest edition to the Juan Soto rumor mill comes from MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki. On his “The Phillies Show” podcast, which also features Ruben Amaro, Jr. and veteran scribe Jim Salisbury, Zolecki downplays reports that the club has not communicated at all with Boras.

So, don’t fret Phillies fans! The club has “communicated” with Boras about his client –and other Boras clients. No, the Phillies have not met with Boras, but they intend to do so before the Soto sweepstakes reaches its conclusion.
