Early on Monday, it was announced that cornerback Chandon Sullivan had found a new team just five days after his release.
Now another former Eagle has found a new team, and it still isn’t one of the trio of Mike Wallace, Stefen Wisniewski and Jay Ajayi, who should all probably have a new contract by now.
Instead, LaRoy Reynolds, who was signed primarily to play special teams, is the next Eagle to find a home, according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
The 49ers just signed LB LaRoy Reynolds, who led all #Eagles in special teams snaps in 2018.

Reynolds will join up with fellow 2018 Eagle, Jordan Matthews, who signed with the 49ers much earlier in the offseason.
Reynolds appeared in all 16 regular-season games and both playoff games for the Birds in 2018. He posted six tackles and an additional two tackles in the playoffs with his primary role being as a special teamer.
While it would be nice for this signing to free up an additional compensatory pick for the Eagles it is highly unlikely. Reynolds’ deal would need to be worth more than $1 million for the signing to count in the comp pick formula and he has made more than that just once in his six years playing (2017).
The 49ers more than likely gave Reynolds the veteran minimum. For comparison, his cap hit with the Eagles in 2018 was just $630,000.
