Vincent Lecavalier is set to rejoin the Flyers lineup after sitting out six straight games.
Lecavalier became a healthy scratch for the first time in his career as the Flyers opened their West Coast trip to open December. He had not recorded a point in eight of his previous nine games.
During the six-game sit, Lecavalier also was reported to have a lower-body injury. But Craig Berube says the Flyers center is ready to get back on the ice.
“I think that I have to give him opportunities with skill players," Berube said. "He looks hungry to me."
Lecavalier has two goals and four assists for six points in 16 games this season.
The Flyers close a four-game homestand against the Florida Panthers tonight at 7 p.m.
