Looking for 3rd team in 3 years, Maclin wants to return to Philly

Jeremy Maclin has struggled to stick with a new team since leaving Philadelphia after the 2014 season when the Eagles opted to not outbid the Kansas City Chiefs for Maclin's services.

Maclin, a pro bowler for the Eagles in his final season here, went on to catch 87 passes for 1,088 yards in his first season in Kansas City. Maclin followed up his strong 2015 campaign with a career-low 44 receptions and 536 yards.

Maclin was cut by the Chiefs and caught on with the Baltimore Ravens last season. Maclin managed to perform below his previous career-lows last season with just 40 receptions for 440 yards.

Now Maclin has found himself cut again and looking for his third team in three seasons. According to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Eagles' former first round pick is interested in coming back to Philadelphia:

It is interesting to note that the Eagles attempted to sign Maclin last season before he decided to sign with the Ravens.

Maclin could make sense for the Eagles after the team traded away Torrey Smith in a cap clearing move. If the price is right, Maclin would bring a similar skill set to the Eagles that Smith did. There is no indication at this time that the Eagles have attempted to bring Maclin back
