Maclin, Dorenbos Named to Pro Bowl Roster

Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin and long snapper Jon Dorenbos have been named to the 2015 Pro Bowl, which will take place on January 25, 2015 in Glendale, Arizona.

Maclin, 26, will be partking in the Pro Bowl for the first time after putting up career numbers this season. His 1,318 receiving yards were the ninth-best in the NFL, just two yards under the Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant. He will be replacing Broncos' wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on the roster.

This will be Dorenbos' second Pro Bowl selection, the first coming back in 2009. He was selected by Pro Bowl coach Jason Garrett of the Dallas Cowboys as a "need player".

Earlier today, running back LeSean McCoy opted out of the game due to an "undisclosed injury"NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks writes of the other six Eagles players, not including McCoy, that have been named to the roster and are set to participate:

In addition to Maclin and Dorenbos, offensive tackle Jason Peters, running back/punt returner Darren Sproles, center Jason Kelce, outside linebacker Connor Barwin, offensive guard Evan Mathis, and rookie kicker Cody Parkey are also going.
