Following the Eagles recent upset against the Patriots, safety Malcolm Jenkins has earned himself NFC Player of the Week thanks in large part to his 99-yard pick-six, his first interception of the season. This is the third time he's won the award, but the first as an Eagle.

Jenkins has dropped his fair share of interceptions this year and last, but to finally get the first one out of the way this season and for it to be a game changer against the Patriots, it has to be not only a confidence-builder for the veteran safety, but also momentum to build on as the Eagles prepare for Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy and the Bills.
Jenkins is the second Eagle to win Defensive Player of the Week this year with Fletcher Cox having earned the award following his three-sack performance against the Saints. Prior to these two, Kurt Coleman was the last Eagle to win the award back in 2011.
