MetsMcFaddens

Everyone likes stopping in McFaddens before or after a Phillies game for a drink or two, right?  Well, to help sell tickets, and presumptously to get through the awful play, the Mets have unleashed a package prepared to booze up Mets fans for live play at Citi Field.

Starting at $50, the package includes:

  • 1 hour open bar before the game
  • 1 complimentary appetizer
  • 1 coupon for a drink after the game
  • Great tickets to the game*

*so the Mets claim

So, how many drinks can you consume in an hour?  Is it enough to sit through Daniel Murphy, Carlos Beltran, and Jose Reyes for three hours?

If not, return for that drink afterwards to quell the sorrow.

But, financially this is worth it; a $20 ticket, plus $30 for the booze and food.  One beer at Citi Field is $9, so soon as you hit four (presumably 20 minutes into the one-hour open bar) you have made out.

If only they would create an open bar within the game, fans could be guaranteed their money's worth at a Mets game.
