Michael Vick Exits Early With Hamstring Injury
Eagles quarterback Michael Vick left the first half of Sunday's game against the New York Giants with a left hamstring injury.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick left in the waning moments of the second quarter against the New York Giants with a hamstring injury, Sunday.
Vick injured his hamstring following a 13-yard run and came up lame after stepping out of bounds. The 33-year old would stay in the game before but left in the following series after being pulled by the coaching staff in favor of Nick Foles after taking a hit in the end zone from Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.
On his first drive of the game Foles drove the Eagles into field goal position to culminate the first half following a picturesque back shoulder throw to DeSean Jackson for 21-yards setting up a 36-yard Alex Henery field goal.
Before leaving the game Vick posted 105 yards passing on 6/14 completions despite failing to complete a pass in the first quarter.
