It remains to be seen how much of practice Michael Vick will take part in for the Philadelphia Eagles Tuesday, but he did not appear limited in the first few periods.
Two days after exiting Sunday's Philadelphia Eagles win over the New York Giants Michael Vick returned to practice Tuesday at the Novacare Complex.
Just yesterday multiple reports surfaced that Vick would sit out Sunday's matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week six due to a left hamstring injury the 33-year old suffered late in the second quarter at MetLife Stadium. However, head coach Chip Kelly has yet to rule Vick out for Sunday's game.
During the early portion of practice that media is permitted to watch, Vick took part in individual drills, but took snaps from Julian Vandervelde while Nick Foles was under center with Jason Kelce. Later, during footwork drills it was Foles and Matt Barkley getting all of the reps while Vick watched before returning to action while receivers were running patterns.
Vick didn't appear to show ill effects in terms of running from drill to drill from the injury.
It remains to be seen just how active Vick is in the remainder of practice that is closed to the media, but we will certainly get a better sense once the locker room is open to reporters and the Eagles must release the daily injury report this afternoon.
If Vick is unable to play, Foles will make his seventh career start and return to the site of his first career win last season.
