Michael Young Reinstated From Bereavement List, Michael Martinez Optioned

Today the Phillies announced that Michael Young has been reinstated to the roster after spending five days on the bereavement list. Last Wednesday the Phillies called up Cesar Hernandez to take Young's spot on the roster and it looks like, for the time being, he will stay with the big club.

The Phillies have decided to option Michael Martinez back to Triple-A where we hope he stays for the rest of his career. Martinez only had three at bats after being called up to take Chase Utley's roster spot. Martinez scored only one run as a pinch runner basically took up bench space. 

It's good to have Michael Young back and to see Mini-Mart go.
