The Flyers' preseason is in full swing, and as the calendar shifts to October, the start of the season is now less than two weeks away.
Goaltenders across the league are rolling out the new equipment that they'll be donning for the 2016-17 season, and Michal Neuvirth is no different. Neuvirth unveiled his new mask on Saturday, paying tribute to the late Ed Snider.

The mask features the Snider silhouette that local artist David E. Wilkinson created in the wake of Snider's passing, along with several photos of the iconic Flyers founder and "A Flyer Forever" written in a cursive typeface. Certainly a strong, classy tribute by the second-year Flyer.
Neuvirth will likely bring the mask out tonight, as he starts in goal for the Orange and Black against Boston.
