Two huge names will miss this afternoon's Eagles–Jets game.
Eagles running back DeMarco Murray is officially inactive with a hamstring injury. Jets wide receiver Eric Decker is also inactive with a knee injury.
Joining Murray are the four defensive players already ruled out for the game — linebackers Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso and defensive linemen Cedric Thornton and Taylor Hart. Wide receiver and return man Josh Huff is also out for today's game.
Kenjon Barner, Denzel Rice, Marcus Smith and Dennis Kelly are all active for the first time this season. Brandon Bair will start in place of Thornton and Jordan Hicks will start for Kendricks. Ryan Mathews is the Eagles starting running back.
The Jets will play Devin Smith for the first time this season in place of Decker. Despite battling injuries, Darrelle Revis and Chris Ivory will play today.
Also on the Jets inactive list are wide receiver Chris Owusu, cornerback Darrin Walls, linebacker Trevor Reilly, offensive linemen Jarvis Harrison and Ben Ijalana and defensive lineman Deon Simon.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from MetLife Stadium.
