NBA’s best to shine tonight at MSG

The biggest stars in the NBA will all be on one court for the only time this season in the NBA All-Star Game tonight. Carmelon Anthony will lead the East, as the face of the hosting New York Knicks, as the conference looks to win its second in as many years. They will face a West team that has lost three of its fan-voted starters to injury, Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin and Anthony Davis.

All the action gets underway from Madison Square Garden at 8:30 p.m. Check out the rosters, some game notes and our predictions below:

Game Notes:

There will be six total first-time selections, with four of them on the East.

Last year's game set a record for total points, as well as most points by the winning and losing team. The East won 163-155.

Last year's reigning MVP, Kyrie Irving, will come off the bench again for the East.

The coaches with the two best records in the league, Steve Kerr of the Warriors and Matt Budenholzer, will lead the West and East on the sidelines, respectively.

Budenholzer will have four of his own guys on his bench, Hawks Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, Paul Milsap and Al Horford.

The Gasols, both Pau and Marc, will be the first set of brothers to start an All-Star game, as they will even face off in the opening tip.
