The Flyers will be without Michal Neuvirth for Saturday.
Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced on Saturday that Neuvirth is dealing with a stomach virus and will be unavailable for Saturday's game in Florida. Anthony Stolarz was recalled from Lehigh Valley as an emergency backup.
Neuvirth is 16-8-4 with a 2.29 GAA and .925 save percentage this season. He figured to get the start after Steve Mason helped the Flyers claim a win on Friday night in Tampa Bay. Mason will start for the Flyers in Florida as well.
Mason allowed four goals on eight shots against the Panthers back on Oct. 10 in what would be his worst start of the season. Neuvirth finished the game, allowing three more goals, and followed that up with a 31-save shutout win over the Panthers two nights later in the Flyers home opener.
