The Flyers tweeted a photo on Tuesday afternoon, announcing new jersey numbers for the new acquisitions this offseason and two players already with the team from last season.

R.J. Umberger will return to his former No. 20, after wearing No. 18 last season. Brandon Manning will wear No. 23 after wearing No. 43 a season ago.

New acquisition Sam Gagner gets No. 89, only the second player in franchise history to ever wear the number. Mike Comrie wore No. 89 in 2004.

New defenseman Yevgeni Medvedev becomes the first player in Flyers history to wear No. 82.

Backup goalie Michal Neuvirth will wear No. 30, the same number he wore with

Though likely to be Phantoms, three other players were assigned numbers with the Flyers for training camp and the preseason. Colin McDonald will wear No. 36, Tim Brent will wear No. 37 and Jason LaBarbera will wear No. 45.
