Former Phillies All-Star player, coach, and manager Larry Bowa may get one more chance in the major leagues.  According to MLB.com, Bowa met with Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow today in Houston.  The Astros have been interviewing for a new manager in recent days after manager Brad Mills was dismissed a few weeks ago.

Though Luhnow would not explicitly state Bowa was interviewing for the open Astros manager position, he is quoted in the piece as saying, "Larry is here to meet with me on some baseball related matters"

Houston has been a landing spot for ex-Phillies in recent years, on the field as players and coaches, and upstairs in management.  Former Phillies General Manager Ed Wade was fired last offseason, and Brad Mills was a former Phillies coatch.  The Astros currently have no ex-Phillies on their roster.

Bo Porter and Dave Martinez are two who have interviewed for the position, according to the piece.
