Avery Williams, Falcons

The Eagles currently do not have a defined punt returner.

Just two years ago, Britain Covey was among the best in the league but he was non-tendered after ending the season on IR with injuries.

Williams was a college DB, but has averaged over 9 yards per return last year.

He would seem likely to be a favorite for that role unless the Eagles plan to allow Cooper DeJean and/or Will Shipley (both of whom will be important to the offense/defense) to stay back there.

The starting returners last season were Gainwell (signed with Steelers) and Covey (free agent).
