Should the Eagles hold on against the Cowboys, Lincoln Financial Field would host it's first playoff game since January 2011.
At halftime of the Eagles vs. Cowboys Sunday Night Football matchup on NBC with the the NFC East division championship at stake the NFL officially set the dates and start times for the wild card weekend games.
After topping the Cowboys 24-22, the Eagles have won their first NFC East division championship since 2010 and made the playoffs for the first time since then and in the first season under head coach Chip Kelly.
The Eagles opponent in the first round will be the six-seeded New Orleans Saints on Saturday night at 8pm at Lincoln Financial Field on NBC.
Philadelphia has played in prime time in each of the final two weeks of the regular season as plenty of intrigue has followed Kelly and the Birds, especially down the stretch this year.
In two previous playoff meetings the Eagles and Saints have split with New Orleans emerging victorious in the divisional round in 2006 and the Birds advancing in the 1992 wild card round.
