Nnamdi Asomugha Takes Hit To Head At Practice

The hardest hit of the Eagles season happened between two teammates.

During team drills, Nate Allen and Nnamdi Asomugha went up for a ball and collided hard with each other. Nate Allen stood up after a brief moment, but Asomugha laid face down on the field for upwards of five minutes.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Asomugha had been knocked out cold. Many teammates huddled around on one knee, as the Cornerback began to move around.

He finally stood up, slowly walked off the field and onto a cart, and then was taken off the practice field. Nate Allen stayed at practice.

Coach Andy Reid will be addressing the situation after practice.

We'll keep you updated here at Eagledelphia on the situation.

UPDATE: Andy Reid says Asomugha has a "Lip laceration, a sore neck, and is still being evaluated for a Concussion."

UPDATE #2: Reid says Tuesday morning Nnamdi has Whiplash syndrome, but no conuccsion.
