Nola tries to rebound as Phillies host Braves

The Philadelphia Phillies will try to snap their five-game losing streak when they battle the Atlanta Braves at Citizen's Bank Park tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.

Aaron Harang took yet another loss last night as he allowed five runs in five innings as Atlanta defeated Philadelphia 7-2. Harang's 15 losses are tops in the majors this season. The win also snapped a 12-game losing streak for the Braves.

Aaron Nola

Aaron Nola will get the ball looking to rebound from the worst start of his brief big league career. The young right-hander lasted just four innings while giving up nine hits and six runs in a 9-4 loss to the Mets last Thursday.

Through his first nine starts, Nola is 5-2 with a 4.02 ERA. He has 44 strikeouts and 14 walks. He was a perfect 4-0 in August.

Nola will be opposed by Ryan Weber. Weber is making his first major league start tonight. This year at Triple-A Gwinnett, Weber was 6-3 with 35 strikeouts and nine walks. He also posted a 2.21 ERA in 27 appearances.
