Official Eagles-Saints injury report

The Philadelphia Eagles have released their final official injury report in advance of a Week 5 game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

For Philadelphia, three players have officially been ruled out.

Starting linebackers Kiko Alonso (knee) and Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) won't play on Sunday.  DeMeco Ryans and Jordan Hicks will start.

Defensive end Brandon Bair (groin) is also ruled out. Bair started the last two games in replace of the injured Cedric Thornton (hand). Thornton and his backup Taylor Hart (shoulder) both will make a return this week.

Starting left tackle Jason Peters is officially ruled questionable to play against the Saints. Peters was questionable with a quad injury heading into last week's game against the Washington Redskins. He re-injured his quad early against the Redskins, and wasn't able to make a return. On Thursday, Peters told reporters that he is going to give it a go.

Cornerback Byron Maxwell also injured his quad against Washington in Week 3. Maxwell is listed as probable for Sunday's game, and he also told reporters that he is going to play.

Offensive Tackle Lane Johnson is also listed as probable. Johnson is nursing an MCL injury and an ankle issue.

After missing last week's game, safety Chris Maragos (quad) is projected to return this week.

As for the Saints, they will be without at least two of their starters on Sunday.

Starting right tackle Terron Armstead (knee) and punter Thomas Morestead (quad) are ruled out.

With Armstead sidelined, rookie first round pick Andrus Peat is set to make his NFL debut.

Earlier this week, the Saints signed Brandon Fields to fill in as Morestead recovers from his injury.

Starting offensive guard Jahri Evans (knee) and rookie defensive lineman Bobby Richardson (hip) are both listed as questionable.

Safety Jarius Byrd (knee), cornerback Keenan Lewis (hip) and guard Tim Lelito (back) are all listed as probable.

Both the Eagles and Saints look to improve to 2-3 on the season on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.
