On Wednesday night, the Sixers lost a disappointing matchup to the Brooklyn Nets on the road, closing out their road trip with a 1-3 record. The game ended in a 116-108 final, and it was the first meeting between the two teams that boast a trio of former teammates. Trevor Booker got to go up aganist Brooklyn for the first time since the December 7 trade while Jahlil Okafor and Nik Stauskas both suited up against the Sixers.
In the end, Brooklyn emerged victorious, but hugs were exchanged between former teammates.

Following the game, Jahlil Okafor spoke with reporters about how it felt to beat his former team. To no one's surprise, he was happy to come out with the win, but also hopes his former teammates achieve their goal of making the playoffs.
“Yeah, if I were to say that win didn’t feel great I’d be lying,” said Okafor. “It felt awesome to be able to pull it out…for Nik and I to be able to go out there and help win was great. That being said, I’m pulling for those guys, and I hope they make the playoffs.”
Jah finished with eight points and three rebounds in the win. Despite all of the awkwardness and tension in Philadelphia towards the end of his time there, Okafor remains a class act.
The Sixers and Nets meet three more times this season with the next game set for March 11 in Brooklyn before the final two matchups in Philadelphia on March 16 and April 3.
