Roy Oswalt has been sent to the disabled list with lower back soreness/inflammation, according to Jim Salisbury of Comcast Sports Net Philadelphia (Via Twitter- http://bit.ly/jBUHCl). However, it is backdated since he last pitched on April 26th. Possible return date is next Friday in Atlanta.
Scott Mathieson has been recalled to take Kyle Kendrick's place in the bullpen. Scott Mathieson has pitched in eight games this season for the triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs. He has allowed eight hits and seven earned runs in 12.2 innings pitched, striking out 15 and walking seven.
The rotation should now look like Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Worley, and Kendrick, with Mathieson, Baez, Stutes, Romero, Madson, and Bastardo in the bullpen.
