Klein was claimed off waivers from the Rangers on June 19 and he made a spot start for the Phillies this season already. During the month of August with the Ironpigs, the 27-year-old right-hander went 4-0 with a 1.06 ERA, striking out 46 and walking just four in five starts.
In 160 minor league games, 22 of which being starts, Klein is 23-5 with a 2.11 ERA. In 37 big league games, his ERA is 5.04. He's likely going to get called up to the Phillies once Jake Thompson and Vince Velasquez are officially shut down for the 2016 season.
